One of England's longest-enduring psychedelic rock bands, Hawkwind was formed during the late '60s, just as art-rock was coming into its own. The band combined bold guitar, synthesizer, and Mellotron sounds, creating music that seemed to cross paths with Chuck Berry and the Moody Blues without sounding like either of them. Here you can hear the legendary psychedelic rockers performing live at London's Astoria on the 19th December, 2007 during their annual London Christmas gig.
