A genuine garage classic, the sole official album by The Remains was originally released by Epic in 1966. You won't be able to find a better example of US '60s garage rock under the influence of the British invasion. The band's driving, in-your-face song 'Don't Look Back' caught the ear of Lenny Kaye, who included it on the massively influential 1972 Elektra compilation 'Nuggets', and the legend of The Remains grew with belated discovery. Eventually, the group and their lone album were vaulted to legendary status.
This Record Store Day release honors a great band with an exact reproduction of their touchstone 1966 garage band long-player, from mono masters, pressed on stunning white wax.
