The amazing debut by the Canadian outfit MOUNTAIN DUST. These seven tracks offer a blast of cymbal crashing, headbanging hard rock laced with doom metal and a sensible dosage of psychedelia. Undeniably rooted in the past, 'Nine Years' nevertheless sounds fresh and modern due to the band's ability to mix styles in a tasteful way. We get the proto-metal influence from Led Zeppelin, the heavy organ sound of The Doors, but also a huge dose of stoner, blues and psychedelic rock.
